Circus Stories of Gravity & Other Myths
For many years, the festival La Strada Graz and Cirque Noël have shared a deep connection with the Australian company Gravity & Other Myths, united by their passion for innovative and experimental approaches to contemporary circus. The extraordinary artistic expression, creativity, and humor of this exceptional ensemble captivate audiences around the world, leaving them spellbound.
Around the turn of the year, Gravity & Other Myths will present not one but two productions on the stage of the Orpheum Graz as part of Cirque Noël: the internationally acclaimed The Mirror and their brand-new work 10.000 Hours, co-produced with Cirque Noël. Both productions are marked by stunning staging, acrobatic virtuosity, and innovative multimedia concepts accompanied by live music.
Around Christmas, The Mirror delves into the omnipresent entertainment industry, posing the poignant question: what does true authenticity mean in our digital age?
As we ring in the New Year, 10.000 Hours offers a powerful reflection on the countless hours of practice and dedication required to master extraordinary skills – the very skills that leave us in awe as we watch them perform on stage.
