The Mirror
In The Mirror, the artists of Gravity & Other Myths explore the concept of entertainment using the language of contemporary circus, questioning what the modern person finds entertaining. What do we want to show the world, and is it something others want to see? What does authenticity mean, especially in an age of ubiquitous screens and constant self-presentation?
The dance and acrobatic feats are complemented by an innovative, contemporary design featuring an LED wall, cameras, and selfie sticks. Expressive, playful, and accompanied by the outstanding electronic compositions of musician Ekrem Eli Phoenix.
